Welcome to Rig Shop. By purchasing from our store or booking a service, you agree to the following terms and conditions, which govern all sales, bookings, and services offered through our website.

1. Overview

Rig Shop is an Australian-owned business providing professional audio products and services, including individual items and complete, ready-to-use turn-key pro audio systems for performers, bands, venues, community groups, and more.

We also offer an online booking system for technical support, setup assistance, and training, allowing customers to schedule one-on-one consultations for configuration or troubleshooting.

Rig Shop operates under a formal reseller agreement with The SoundTrap, an authorised Australian retailer and distributor of professional audio equipment. Rig Shop functions as an online sales channel of The SoundTrap, with full consent to promote, sell, and supply products sourced through The SoundTrap’s authorised Australian distribution network. All products sold through Rig Shop are supplied via genuine Australian channels and include full manufacturer warranty coverage in accordance with Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

This partnership combines The SoundTrap’s supplier network and logistics with Rig Shop’s assembly, quality testing, and customer support, enabling the delivery of reliable, professionally built turn-key pro audio solutions across Australia.

2. Product Handling, Assembly & Packaging

To ensure systems arrive ready for use, certain components may be unboxed, rack-mounted, cabled, or installed into transport cases prior to dispatch. Products may be powered on briefly for compatibility checks, configuration, and performance testing. These steps are undertaken solely for quality assurance and do not constitute use beyond what is permitted under Australian Consumer Law.

Where practical, original packaging is included with shipment. In some cases, packaging may be flattened or excluded where bulk, freight limitations, or assembly requirements make inclusion impractical. If you require original packaging to remain sealed, please advise at the time of purchase and we will accommodate where reasonably possible.

3. Shipping & Delivery

Rig Shop offers free standard shipping Australia-wide on all turn-key system purchases and orders over $99, up to a maximum freight cost of $500.

Orders may be shipped directly from authorised retail partners or dispatched from Rig Shop following assembly and testing.

Rig Shop operates on a rolling weekly order and build cycle for turn-key and custom systems. Once an order enters the build schedule, it is assembled, configured, labelled, and tested prior to dispatch. Systems are generally shipped within 14 business days of entering the build cycle. Tracking details are emailed once the order has been dispatched.

Individual products are typically dispatched within 2–5 business days, subject to stock availability.

Delivery timeframes vary depending on location, and regional or remote areas may experience extended transit times. Rig Shop currently ships within Australia only.

4. Warranty & Returns

All products are supplied with manufacturer warranties in accordance with Australian Consumer Law. Rig Shop may assist customers in lodging or managing warranty claims through The SoundTrap and authorised distributors.

Change-of-mind returns are assessed on a case-by-case basis and may not be available for built-to-order or pre-assembled systems. Return shipping costs for change-of-mind returns are the responsibility of the customer unless the product is faulty, damaged, or misdescribed under ACL.

Proof of purchase and original packaging should be retained to assist with any claims.

5. Bookings & Appointments

Rig Shop offers online and in-person appointments via its scheduling platform.

Bookings are confirmed once the required information is submitted and payment is received where applicable. Rig Shop reserves the right to reschedule appointments due to unforeseen circumstances or staff availability. Customers may cancel or reschedule up to 24 hours prior to the appointment time; late cancellations may not be refundable.

For online sessions, customers are responsible for adequate internet access and required software. Rig Shop provides technical guidance only and is not liable for damage, data loss, or equipment issues resulting from incorrect setup, misuse, or circumstances beyond its control.

6. Customisation & Special Orders

Rig Shop can customise systems to meet specific requirements. Custom orders may require additional lead time. Once assembly or preparation has commenced, cancellations or modifications may not be possible except as required under Australian Consumer Law.

7. Pricing & GST

All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST unless otherwise stated. Pricing may change without notice; however, confirmed orders will be honoured at the price displayed at checkout.

Payments are processed securely via approved third-party payment providers. Rig Shop currently sells and ships within Australia only.

8. Disclaimer

Rig Shop assembles and tests turn-key systems to ensure they arrive operational and ready for use. However, as individual components are manufactured by third parties, Rig Shop cannot guarantee performance or compatibility beyond the supplied configuration.

Rig Shop is not liable for loss, inconvenience, or damage arising from misuse, incorrect setup, external interference, or circumstances beyond its control. Manufacturer warranties and long-term product support remain the responsibility of the relevant manufacturer or authorised retailer.

9. Copyright & Intellectual Property

All original Rig Shop content, including system designs, product descriptions, instructional materials, and branding, remains the intellectual property of Hosea Creative Pty Ltd and may not be reproduced without written consent.

Third-party trademarks and brand names remain the property of their respective owners and are used solely to identify supplied products.

10. Business Ownership & Liability

Rig Shop is a registered business name of Hosea Creative Pty Ltd (ABN 27 658 325 869). All sales, correspondence, and assembly services are conducted by Hosea Creative Pty Ltd, which maintains appropriate public liability insurance for its operations.

11. Responsible Disposal of Packaging

Rig Shop aims to minimise waste through efficient assembly and consolidated packaging practices. Customers are encouraged to recycle cardboard and soft plastics where possible, reuse packaging materials, and dispose of obsolete equipment through appropriate e-waste programs.
