Shipping policy
At Rig Shop, we aim to make shipping as simple and affordable as possible for customers across Australia. We offer free standard shipping on eligible orders while ensuring every product — whether purchased individually or as part of a complete turn-key system — is packaged securely and dispatched promptly.
Free Shipping Eligibility
Free standard shipping is available on all turn-key system purchases and on any order over $99, up to a maximum freight cost of $500. These offers apply to deliveries within Australia only.
Orders that exceed the $500 freight threshold, or those shipped to remote or high-cost regions, may incur a partial freight surcharge. Rig Shop does not currently ship internationally.
Weekly Build Cycle
Turn-key systems and custom systems are assembled through a rolling weekly order and build cycle. This process allows us to plan and assemble systems efficiently, conduct full quality testing and labelling, manage stock and logistics through our supply partners, and ship items as soon as possible once preparation is complete.
Most systems are dispatched within 14 business days of entering the build cycle. Tracking details are emailed as soon as your order has shipped.
Order Fulfilment & Dispatch
Depending on your order, items may be shipped directly from one of our authorised retail partners or dispatched from Rig Shop following assembly and quality testing. We always select the most efficient and secure delivery method based on your location and order type.
Turn-Key Systems
If your purchase includes a Rig Shop system or custom system, certain components may be partially or fully unboxed for professional assembly, wiring, labelling, and performance testing.
During this process, products may be powered on briefly to verify signal flow and wiring integrity, compatibility and firmware alignment, and full operational performance. All items remain classified as new under Australian Consumer Law and include full manufacturer warranty coverage.
While the core system — including mixer racks, routing, and configuration — is fully assembled and tested by Rig Shop, some larger items such as speakers, stands, or bulky hardware may be shipped directly from suppliers and may not be unpacked or tested in-house due to freight and handling limitations. These components are supplied brand new, covered by full manufacturer warranty, and are selected to integrate seamlessly with your prepared system.
If you prefer original packaging to remain sealed or included, please advise at checkout and we will accommodate where reasonably practical.
Individual Products
Standard products such as microphones, cables, DI boxes, and stands are generally dispatched within 2–5 business days, subject to stock availability. These items may ship separately from our retail partners to ensure the fastest possible delivery.
Delivery Timeframes
Delivery timeframes vary depending on courier performance and destination. Regional and remote addresses may experience extended transit times.
We keep customers informed throughout the dispatch process and can provide delivery estimates upon request.
Urgent Orders
If you require delivery by a specific date, please contact us before or immediately after placing your order. We will do our best to prioritise your build or arrange express delivery where possible.
