Tim Evans is an audio and systems engineer with over 15 years of industry experience in live sound and studio production. His journey began with Planetshakers Church Melbourne, where he discovered his passion for sound and the powerful role it plays in connecting people through music.

After completing formal training at SAE Institute, Tim went on to work across a wide range of events, venues and recording environments, developing a strong reputation for professionalism and a commitment to excellence in everything he does.

Growing up in a musically accomplished family, creativity was woven into everyday life with generations of musicians achieving both local and international success. That heritage shaped Tim’s appreciation for music as both an art and a craft which continues to influence his people-first approach to audio.

Today, Tim operates Atlas Audio, an audio company based in north-west Victoria, alongside business partner Zak Wilksch. He also works as a gallery and theatre technician at the Mildura Arts Centre, continuing to stay hands-on in both live production and technical operations.

Through Rig Shop, he focuses on building practical, well-designed audio systems that are easy to use and ready to perform.
