Tim Evans is an audio and systems engineer with over 15 years of industry experience in live sound and studio production. His journey began with Planetshakers Church Melbourne, where he discovered his passion for sound and the powerful role it plays in connecting people through music. After completing formal training at SAE Institute, Tim went on to work across a wide range of events, venues and recording environments, developing a strong reputation for professionalism and a commitment to excellence in everything he does.

Growing up in a musically accomplished family, creativity was woven into everyday life with generations of musicians achieving both local and international success. That heritage shaped Tim’s appreciation for music as both an art and a craft and it continues to influence his people-first approach to audio. He believes great sound is about more than just the gear, it’s about communication, connection and care.

Today, Tim operates Atlas Audio, an audio company based in north-west Victoria, which he runs alongside business partner Zak Wilksch, staying hands-on in both live sound production and technical operations. Through Rig Shop, he channels his passion for professional audio systems creating practical, well-designed solutions. His focus is on making high end gear and pro audio systems accessible, helping others build confidence, learn and achieve the best results possible.
